Well guys I have had such an amazing month! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter breaks!
I’m currently in egypt, travelling back from manila! Myself an the big dance company had such a good time mixing with different countries an dancing all around metro Manila for the 2011 Philippines dance Xchange!Just waiting for my transfer flight to heathrow then it’s straight off to training with “Take That” for their official European and UK tour!
Opportunities guys! There’s a reason why we go on about them so much haha! Grab and embrace every single one!

- Flava Launch In Dagenham
Barking and Dagenham Safer Transport Team officers took part in a new anti bullying and youth crime programme that is about to tour junior schools on the borough.
Britains got talent semi-finalists FLAVA invited teachers and pupils to a ‘taster’ workshop at Dagenham and Redbridge Football Club on Thursday 3rd March 2011.
The workshops are dance based. Pupils learn a simple routine that encourages them to work in unison while exploring anti-social behaviour, gang violence, bullying and knife crime.
The three hour sessions will be run in Junior Schools throughout the borough.
PC Lisa Rao who helped organise the event said: “Through dance, the children experience what it feels like to be both victims and aggressors and then compile a story of how they can change poor attitudes and behaviour. We were delighted to take part in this inspiring programme.”

We received such positive feedback from our recent Hip Hop Dance Workshop held in St Austell, it was decided to run it again, but at a larger venue – Helston Community College, Cornwall. Start 11am finish approximately 4.30pm.
For age 6-20 years (age groups will be divided on the day).
Workshop ticket price £20 per child
Additional siblings £15 per childShow ticket price – £5 per person or 2 family members £8
The children will attend a 2 hour workshop with FLAVA and then have the opportunity to perform for their families on stage at the end of the day, followed by performance by FLAVA. I am also hoping to arrange for some dance students to showcase individual routines.
Khalile Siddiqui, a professional photographer will be on site to take individual photos of the children with FLAVA. These will be printed at the event for you to take home. FLAVA ‘THIS IS ME’merchandise will also be available to buy.
A fantastic surprise stocking filler – entrance ticket will be issued upon payment.
All profits from this event will be donated to the Forget Me Not Charity.

Hello there , I would like to present you with an exciting advertising opportunity, that will not only give you optimum advertising locally and nationally but will help make your community and country a better place, and we mean literally.
Since coming off the show Flava travel approximately 1500 miles a week delivering inspiring dance workshops to 1000′s of young people in schools and colleges and helping to highlight the effects of anto social behavior and Bullying. The workshops were that effective that police forces across the country came on board to help us cover more schools and areas. We are currently working with Cornwall and Devon police, Sussex, london Metropolitan, and soon to be Dagenham and Manchester City.Through accurate avaluations they show that 96% of children feel more confident after the workshop and 75% take up an after school hobby.6 months ago after our Mercedes Benz vehicle sponsorship run out we saved funds to purchase a vehicle for our School tours, the vehicle that we brought turned out to be faulty before we even got it back to Cornwall and the garage took back the Car but did not give us back our Money and this matter is now in the hands of the courts. As you can imagine this has left us in a very vulnerable position, however the Devon and Cornwall Police have sourced a reliable vehicle that is ready to be collected, so that leaves us to raise the £3,000 left to purchase the vehicle. We had an idea that is we could get Cornwall behind us and advertise on this very active vehicle then this can be possible.If you look at the vehicle below you can see how effective your advertising can be and what a fantastic cause for you to be supporting. Teaching and performing for the inspiring Lucy Turner and her fantastic dance school Urban Fusion Dance!
They all took to lyrical really well and learnt really quickly! 2 Show pieces in just 3 Hours! Good job guys!We were able to pop into their rehearsals and see their talent for ourselves!!
All the young adults were very welcoming and we were treated like stars amongst the community! Thanks guys!
