Fiona designed these workshops initially for the London Metropolitan police to take on tour around primary schools across the country, helping children to recognise the effects of Anti Social behaviour, bullying and crime in general. Growing up in quite a hostile area she knew first hand how easy it is to fall in with the wrong crowd and take the wrong path.
This workshop helps students to be more confident to speak out against bullying and peer pressure and gives them more confidence to try an afterschool activity as proven by our evaluations on previous schools. The workshops can be tailored to the age and nature of the group, encourage young people to engage with each other and the local community police and build more trust with their teachers and friends should they need help. Talks combined with high energy dancing and role play, these workshops leave the students buzzing and confident. Previous work we have done is with Primary and Secondary schools, Prisons, Young Offenders units, and youth clubs. You do not have to have a problem in your area to benefit from this confidence boosting workshop for both parents and teachers.
