 Members of the nationally acclaimed street dance company Flava came to Ifield Community College. Some 38 very keen and enthusiastic boys stayed behind after school to work with these inspirational and creative dance teachers.

 It has been two weeks since you came to CS but everyone is still talking about the fantastic workshops and performances that you gave when you were with us.

  A hip hop dance troupe who featured on ITV's ‘Britain's Got Talent’ have been working with the police to inspire youngsters in Plymouth with a fun dance workshop.

Cornish dance group Flava ran the 'b Inspired' workshop at Lipson Community College to inspire young people to build confidence through dance techniques.

 On Thursday 18th of November, the dance group Flava officially launched their next series of dance workshops aimed at year 9 in secondary schools across the Borough. This was launched at The Rex in Stratford showcasing to schools and their pupils. 

This week is Anti-Bullying Week, and schools across the country are taking part in numerous activities to prevent bullying and encourage pupils who are being bullied to speak out. 

Flava who are perhaps best known for reaching the semi-finals of ITV's 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2008 achieved national recognition and capitalized on this hard earned opportunity to do what they love, which is, to dance and perform. 

MERCEDES-BENZ RETAIL SUPPORT EAST LONDON’S YOUTH WITH FLAVA Contemporary dance troupe Flava who were propelled to fame by reaching the semi-finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2008, concluded their ‘b inspired’ tour of East London on Friday 10 July at Brampton Primary School, Newham. Flava, supported by Mercedes-Benz Retail, were awarded the honorary Philip Lawrence Award in December 2008 which recognises teenagers who make a positive contribution to their communities.

As part of their on-going campaign to get involved with local community projects,
Mercedes-Benz Retail has joined forces with 2008 Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists, dance troupe, Flava on their ‘b inspired’ tour. The initiative aims to engage young people through dance: Flava will travel the width and breadth of the country, visiting thousands of children in primary and secondary schools across the UK, in their Viano people carrier, provided by
Mercedes-Benz Retail.

YOUNGSTERS STEP TO THE BEAT

Flava, a Hip Hop dance troupe who reached the semi-finals of ITV’s Britain's Got Talent last year, are working with police to run an exciting dance workshop to inspire youngsters in Falmouth and Penryn.

The Cornish dance group, who recently received a Philip Lawrence honorary award for their outstanding contribution to the community, is working with young people to build confidence through dance.

The ‘B Inspired’ workshop took place at The Dracaena Centre, Falmouth on Saturday 2 May and Sunday 3 May.

Hi guys just to let you know that Flava will be doing a workshop at the Centenery Hall in Camborne on 25th August.

There will be an under 12's workshop from 2 - 4pm and an over 12's workshop from 5 - 7pm.

If you want to come and see Flava perform and be taught some cool and up to date moves then turn up 15mins before the workshop to register and make sure you bring lots of water.
