For a second time we were invited back to newquay tertherrus school to teach during their annual activities week Well done everyone we LOVED every minute Hello everyone, just wanted to say a massive thankyou to all the schools we worked with this week who made us all feel so welcome! All the kids were amazing and great to work with…. Had lots of you guys asking for classes and if we did them…. We wish we could, maybe one day!!! Thanks for an awesome and enjoyable week everyone! X Hi Everyone, Firstly, I want to say a huuuuuge thank you to everyone who came along for the workshops at the Keay Theatre St Austell. We had the most amazing time and really enjoyed meeting everyone. You were all amazing!!! Secondly, I am soooo looking forward to the months ahead!!!! Flava are doing so many performnces and workshops all across the country. From hair shows to summer fetes we are doing loads!!! I am also getting a chance to step back into the old costumes and dust off my moves to try and fill Kyles shoes for some gigs. We are really missing Kyle but can’t wait to hear all his amazing stories on his return. It also means that you lucky people get to see me again hahahahahahha, so you can thank Kyle for that!!!! Anyway I am going to get back to work and create more amazing things for us to do wooooo hooooooo. See you soon Well guys I have had such an amazing month! I hope you all enjoyed your Easter breaks! Just waiting for my transfer flight to heathrow then it’s straight off to training with “Take That” for their official European and UK tour! Opportunities guys! We taught four workshops to the year 9 students who were awesome! Then we finished the day and started the half term by performing in their assembly. Just want to say a huge thank you to all the students and teachers that made us feel so welcome and made the day such a success. Also thank you so much for mine and Hannah’s beautiful flowers and the boys chocolates. Kyle x Flava just want to say a huge Happy New Year!!!! We are so excited about 2011 and have lots of amazing thing happening this year from big performances to fun filled, crazy dancing workshops!!!! The last 3 years have been an absolute whirlwind and the next year is about to get even crazier!!! Woooo Hooooooooo!!! We can’t wait. We also want to say a HUGE thank you to evryone who has supported us and been behind us all the way. Without you guys we would not love our job as much we do, so thank you. Here’s to all our friends and fans we have already and here’s to evryone we have not yet crossed paths with wooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooo!!! Flava are holding 3 1hour workshops at Dynamite Dance studios in Manchester on 2nd January 2011. The workshops will only cost £6 for Dynamite members and £7 for non-Dynamite members. You simply pay on arrival and enjoy learning the lastest moves from Flava!!!! Workshops will be 2 -3pm, 3 -4pm and 4 – 5pm. Address is Dynamite Studios. Etherow House, etherow Industrial Estate, Woolley Bridge Road, Hadfield, Glossop, SK13 2NS. You can then get a chance to see them perform at the Fir Tree pub in the evening. It will be a fun night with performances from Flava and a fun dance battle between the local Fir Tree dancers and the group. If you have any questions please call Becci on 07854 329 849. Flava are so excited about teaching in Tamworth over the weekend We are doing workshops on the Saturday and then performing at two shows on the Sunday. We cant wait to meet everyone and check out Tamworth!!!! Hopefully see you there wooooooo hooooooooo!!! Wow, what an amazing weekend we have just had!!!! Flava had the amazing opportunity to have a stand at The Dance Show/Clothes Show Live on 3rd – 5th December. We had the most fantastic time meeting new people, watching some incredible acts, checking out all the stands, being inspired, inspiring others, chatting to people who shared our huge passion for dance and learning so much more. I loved it and am still buzzing from all the opportunities it has opened up for us. Flava performed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and rocked the stage with their best of bits performance. They went down a storm!!! I was so proud of the guys and it made me realise how lucky I am to be part of such an amazing team. I am now getting in contact with all the new friends and colleagues I have met, I am very excited. Can’t wait til next year already!!! Were off to london on tuesday evening and we are working in schools in Newham on wednesday thursday and friday. (way down in cornwall) and i just had to let you all know how fun it was! we were looked after sooo well by all the staff there! (thanks if your reading this hehe) We performed an all new piece for the event created just for that event, it included loads of styles including, breaking, hip hop, hip hop lyrical, street, ballet and contemporary. Lucky enough we had two EXTRA dancers and performers on stage with us, this included Sophie Walke (ballet and contemporary genius and performing master hehe! who we all love and have known for years through ‘the big dance company’) and the breath taking Edy Brattu (an incredible, inspiring break dancer and gymnast who i hope i have spelt his name correctly! hehe!) the piece went really well for all of us and we got some awesome feed back from the audience, who gasped as the curtain fell to the floor at the end of out performance to reveal two AMAZING Audi A1′s driving toward them! Also, along side us tonight we had the company and support from Fiona and Becci…. who im sure you guys know… Beccis our manager and Fi (you know kyles mum). hey guys, so we have just had an amazing roller coaster ride of a weekend with the breakin convention and the forget me not charity event in st Austell! and wow! That was sooo fun…. things just seem to be getting better as we prepare to release the Audi A1 to the south west of england tomorrow night!!! next week were off to london and we will be working in lots of primary schools, which we all love right before we travel back on the friday night to get ready for our ‘live the dream’ black and white charity ball with the animaineax and the amazing urban jokers…. who you may have seen on a little television programme called ‘move like michael jackson’ (AMAZING!) Thats on the 27th november…. maybe we will see you there! hehe! and well all I can say is WOW! What an incredible week, all of the students and staff were a true credit to themselves and their school! It was so nice for us to work locally as we are always away and we couldn’t have asked for a better week to spend in Cornwall! On behalf of all of flava I just want to say a huge well done and thankyou to the extremely talented students that worked sooooo hard all of that week to produce a show that we never would have thought would have turned out so amazingly in such a short amount of time! But also an even bigger thank you goes to the outstandingly dedicated teachers and staff members that made it happen!
