Kyle For a second time we were invited back to newquay tertherrus school to teach during their annual activities week Well done everyone we LOVED every minute Hello guys Just thought I would write a little post about some of the upcoming things for this week that we are all excited about. We had the most amazing time and really enjoyed meeting everyone. You were all amazing!!! Secondly, I am soooo looking forward to the months ahead!!!! Flava are doing so many performnces and workshops all across the country. From hair shows to summer fetes we are doing loads!!! I am also getting a chance to step back into the old costumes and dust off my moves to try and fill Kyles shoes for some gigs. We are really missing Kyle but can’t wait to hear all his amazing stories on his return. It also means that you lucky people get to see me again hahahahahahha, so you can thank Kyle for that!!!! Im Extremely Excited About The Tour And What It Has In Store For Me! But Also Sad That I Will Be Stepping Out Of Flava For The Next 3 Months!……. What an awesome and talented bunch of young people we were lucky enough to dance and work with last saturday!! I hope they enjoyed it as much as we all did!!! This is a bit about what they accieved in working with us for just 2 hours……..We put on a show where they did 4 performances, we did 3 and we had our special guests ‘tricky’ of the big dance company joined us and performed 3 sets…… so in total the show was about 45 min long and parents got to come and watch (next time there going to be in the show! hehe!!!). we also played some confidence games where everyone got to meet new people, but most of all we all had fun! hope we get to do it again soon! keep an eye on where we are and what were up to on twitter and face book, ‘flavaofficial’ were off to london this week to launch our anti bullying campaign and knife/gangwarfare awarness workshops in london so check out on here and see how that goes!!! xxx Wow! We received such positive feedback from our recent Hip Hop Dance Workshop held in St Austell, it was decided to run it again, but at a larger venue – Helston Community College, Cornwall. Start 11am finish approximately 4.30pm. For age 6-20 years (age groups will be divided on the day). Workshop ticket price £20 per child Show ticket price – £5 per person or 2 family members £8
The children will attend a 2 hour workshop with FLAVA and then have the opportunity to perform for their families on stage at the end of the day, followed by performance by FLAVA. I am also hoping to arrange for some dance students to showcase individual routines.
Khalile Siddiqui, a professional photographer will be on site to take individual photos of the children with FLAVA. These will be printed at the event for you to take home. FLAVA ‘THIS IS ME’merchandise will also be available to buy.
A fantastic surprise stocking filler – entrance ticket will be issued upon payment.
All profits from this event will be donated to the Forget Me Not Charity.

Since coming off the show Flava travel approximately 1500 miles a week delivering inspiring dance workshops to 1000′s of young people in schools and colleges and helping to highlight the effects of anto social behavior and Bullying. The workshops were that effective that police forces across the country came on board to help us cover more schools and areas. We are currently working with Cornwall and Devon police, Sussex, london Metropolitan, and soon to be Dagenham and Manchester City.Through accurate avaluations they show that 96% of children feel more confident after the workshop and 75% take up an after school hobby.
6 months ago after our Mercedes Benz vehicle sponsorship run out we saved funds to purchase a vehicle for our School tours, the vehicle that we brought turned out to be faulty before we even got it back to Cornwall and the garage took back the Car but did not give us back our Money and this matter is now in the hands of the courts. As you can imagine this has left us in a very vulnerable position, however the Devon and Cornwall Police have sourced a reliable vehicle that is ready to be collected, so that leaves us to raise the £3,000 left to purchase the vehicle. We had an idea that is we could get Cornwall behind us and advertise on this very active vehicle then this can be possible.
If you look at the vehicle below you can see how effective your advertising can be and what a fantastic cause for you to be supporting. We are very passionate about our work and very proud that we can be a voice and good representation for Cornwall.

We got back home from manchester yesterday after an amazing weekend working with some AWESOME people! we did some workshops at Dynamite Dance to begin our time there. It was full of inspirational and talented young people and you were all a pleasure to work with!!! After we were very well looked after by our friends at Absolute DJ’s and we had lots of laughs and did some performances at the fir tree! everyone looked like they were having soooo much fun!!! and we were very lucky to see an old friend of ours there marquell!!! thanks for popping in… ace to see you!!! finally on the monday we worked with capitol radio!!! who were all so friendly to us and looked after us so well…. hope to see you guys soon too!!! any way…. my dinner is burning so i had better dash…. pics to come!!! xxx Flava just want to say a huge Happy New Year!!!! You can then get a chance to see them perform at the Fir Tree pub in the evening. (way down in cornwall) and i just had to let you all know how fun it was! we were looked after sooo well by all the staff there! (thanks if your reading this hehe) We performed an all new piece for the event created just for that event, it included loads of styles including, breaking, hip hop, hip hop lyrical, street, ballet and contemporary. Lucky enough we had two EXTRA dancers and performers on stage with us, this included Sophie Walke (ballet and contemporary genius and performing master hehe! who we all love and have known for years through ‘the big dance company’) and the breath taking Edy Brattu (an incredible, inspiring break dancer and gymnast who i hope i have spelt his name correctly! hehe!) the piece went really well for all of us and we got some awesome feed back from the audience, who gasped as the curtain fell to the floor at the end of out performance to reveal two AMAZING Audi A1′s driving toward them! hey guys, so we have just had an amazing roller coaster ride of a weekend with the breakin convention and the forget me not charity event in st Austell! and wow! That was sooo fun…. things just seem to be getting better as we prepare to release the Audi A1 to the south west of england tomorrow night!!! next week were off to london and we will be working in lots of primary schools, which we all love right before we travel back on the friday night to get ready for our ‘live the dream’ black and white charity ball with the animaineax and the amazing urban jokers…. who you may have seen on a little television programme called ‘move like michael jackson’ (AMAZING!) Thats on the 27th november…. maybe we will see you there! hehe!
